Legal Information for Website Owners
Wecock Community Association was formed in 1977 and has been serving the needs of the local community ever since. The association is run by a team of trustees with a broad range of skills and experiences, who are all unpaid volunteers wanting to support the local community. The centre also has a number of paid staff to support the volunteers and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the centre.
Understanding Legal Boundaries
As a community centre aiming to provide a safe and inclusive environment, it is important to establish clear guidelines and legal boundaries for all visitors and members. These boundaries help in defining the legal relationship between the centre and the community, ensuring a secure and protected environment for all.
Creating a Safe Environment
In order to maintain a secure and welcoming environment, the community centre addresses various aspects such as membership eligibility, code of conduct, safeguarding policies, and other relevant guidelines. These measures are essential to protect the rights of the community, maintain ethical standards, and ensure a positive experience for everyone involved.
